Cofete is almost completely uninhabited part of the island with enormous, beautiful and completely untouched by man beach. In order to get there, first you have to head to the biggest resort on the south of the island: Moro Jable, about 1 hour from Caleta de Fuste via the motorway.

This super tourist town boasts many shops, restaurants and a 5km long beach.

If you do not want to stop there, set the navigation immediately to the vantage point in the mountain pass in front of Cofete, which can be reached by a gravel road from Moro Jable:

From it you can admire the whole panorama of this small town by the ocean.

In Cofete itself, it is worth seeing the old cemetery (by the beach) and the Villa Winter.

In the town itself there is a nice local restaurant serving very good local cuisine:

On the way back, it is also worth visiting the lighthouse at the southern tip of the island:

There is also a highly rated pub:

From Cofete we go home the same way we came here.
