The Salt Museum is on the outskirts of Caleta de Fuste (about 5 km from apartment).

On site you can buy tickets to the museum and learn about the rules of the former salt factory on the island.

The "production line" has been preserved to this day.

1.5km from the Museum (driving along the gravel road along the ocean) we can find a rocky beach and the entrance to the gorge:

From this place, we can still try to drive further south, but after 1-2 km, the comfortable and wide gravel turns into a difficult off-road road for 4x4 vehicles and we really DO NOT RECOMMEND trying to cover this road with an ordinary passenger car.

This road leads to Pozo Nego - an atmospheric town that looks more like Latin American towns than classic Canarian towns. However, this town can also be reached via asphalt (highway) - from the Salt Museum it will take about 15 minutes.
